The cardio suite was completed in April 2018 with matched funds from Sport England.
It was built to compliment other projects running at the centre that help to raise the expectations of people living in the area, give them something to aspire to and promote the idea that anything is possible if you commit.
The suite has been dedicated to the memory of Former Lord Mayor of Hull, Cllr. Nadine Fudge whose support of the Centre made her a fundamental member of the Vulcan Community. She is renowned for her “sheer hard graft”.
Thanks to additional funders the cardio suite houses a sled track, a sled, treadmills, rowers, resistance bikes, ski ergs, a stair-master, an elliptical cross trainer, bumper plates and kettle bells.

We at Vulcan are very proud of the planning and work that has gone into this endevour and would like to extend our warmest thanks The Peter Harrison Foundation for their overwelming generosity without which this community resource would not have been possible.
